I’ve always been a total skeptic when it came to supplements. There is so much hype around, before and after pictures of people who do the seemingly impossible and transform their body in 8 weeks, bodybuilding posing for supplements etc etc!
So when I first heard about nitric oxide supplements, I didn’t even bother trying them. What the companies were claiming simply looked too good to be true. So I kicked back, and waiting for loads of other people to try it see what they said.
After about a year, I went online and started to research NO2 products to see what people had started saying. Surprisingly, most of the reviews were positive. So I did a bit more research on about 10 brands of nitric oxide supplements and from what I read, and the price, No-Xplode was the best (and cheapest) option.
My Experiences With NO-Xplode:
I now consider myself a seasoned user of No-Xplode. I have been using it for 8 months, and am on my 6th tub.
When I first open the packet it said I have to “measure my tolerance” by start off with just 1 scoop (you can take 1-3 per dose). So I only took 1 scoop, with about 250ml of water. Tasted pretty good. I then headed off to the gym (you should be taking NO-Xplode 30-45mins before your workout).
Half way to the gym (I walk) I was starting to feel a sudden energy burst…it was a weird feeling, suddenly I really, really wanted to train. Got to the gym, I was chest/biceps day. Felt some pretty decent pumps and could notice my veins were larger than usual. But the main thing I noticed was the increase in energy. I powered through my session, and still felt like I had a bit more in me at the end.
Not bad so far.
Second session, I decided to take 2 scoops to see how that would go. I was training back and triceps and got some incredible pumps (esp on tricep kickbacks! - done slowly). I have never felt so tight. Awesome feeling. Huge amount of energy too.
So I continued with this dosage amount for about 3 weeks, plus taking 1 scoop on non-training days as recommended on the label. But by the end of the 4th week I was starting to lose the effects. I didn’t have as much energy wasn’t getting the huge pumps like on week 1. So I took 2 weeks off it.
2 weeks later, and the week 1 results were back. This time I decided not to take it on non-training days. I think this was a good move because I was getting much more out of it for a longer time. This time I took it for 6 weeks straight. After the 6 weeks was up, I went off it for 2 weeks.
I think I found a good cycle. I would have 2 scoops before training only. I did not take it on non-training days. Then after 6 weeks on NO-Xplode, I would take 2 weeks off. This is the cycle I have used for the last 8 months.
My Recommendations:
I was a total skeptic, but I’ve kind of done a u-turn on NO-Xplode. I have been using it with huge success for the past 8 months. I recommend that you don’t take it on training days, and you cycle it every 5-8 weeks. This will stop you from building up a tolerance and you’ll get much more out of it.

Just to let you guys (and girls) know, there is no point of taking no-explode on non-training days. Its a waste and it makes your body built a tolerance a lot faster…
I had been taking 2 scoops of NO-Xplode only on workout days, along with Cellmass for approximately 16 weeks (over the recommended 12 weeks), and I noticed I wasn’t experiencing the initial effects, so I am cycling for 4 weeks, and then starting over again.
I too, believe there is no good reason to take NO on off-days, because there’s no need for more energy/pumps on off-days. I suggest taking Cellmass at it’s recommended dose (1 dose right after workout, 1 dose 6 hours after that). and taking 2 on off days as well (same pattern 6 hours apart). This soaks your muscles in creatine which is what you need to recover instead of NO.
I’ve been taking no explode for about two years now and love the results. However, I have also developed health issues such as high blood pressure, dizziness and a severe kidney infection. I would not recommend this product.
I just bought my first jug of n.o. xplode, and the results are AMAZING!!! after about 15 minutes of taking it i feel this rush of energy and focus run through my whole body. My strength instantly went up, plus the pumps are insane. would definetly recommend for anyone who wants instant strength and an insane pump.
As reading reviews it seems like people who have used it for a long time (ex 2 years) experience really bad side effects. I am on this product but i think after i finish the first tub ill take a few weeks off then start again to avoid any severe side effects. I do suffer from minor headaches n a lil bit of insomnia but nothing to severe
I am a field soldier in the canadian army. I highly recommend xplode.. I go for marches with over a 100 lbs of gear on my back plus full FFO (full fighting order) which is Rifle helmet and 5 full mags) so im carrying atleast 150lbs and i go for 20km straight marching and let me tell u, i dont get the burn in my muscles like before and wen i hit the gym i take another drink of it…its the best stuff ever especially for high demand excercise.
hi, is n.o. xplode any good as a suppliment to help with cardio endurance? e.g ironman training?
I took noxplode and I got extremely HARD! My stamina was amazing. I could keep going for hours. My wife definitely noticed the difference.

i’ve been using this stuff for about a month now… and all i have to say is it works and unlike some other products it doesnt make you bloated. plus it has a really great taste that doesnt get boring the whole time your drinking it… it has so many different kinds of flavors that you can choose from…!!!
i have been using no xplode for a while. i am currently in season so im not taking it but when i was during tthe off season it was AMAZING!!! i had so much energy. it works. bottom line
I am a bike rider and I have really seen an increase in my ability to go longer and faster with much faster recovery. A lot of bike riders I know use this stuff and swear by it.
I have been using this product for three years - on and off. There is no doubt that this product has produced results for me in the gym, both physically and mentally. I saw immense gains in strength and size - my squat and bench press increased to peaks I have never reached before. This is incredible considering that I played college football 10 years ago, during which time I had a professional strength coach. I also gained 23 pounds of lean mass over this 3 year period (I went from 210 to 233 - 6′3″). In addition, this product provided a mental “edge” for me both in the gym and in between workouts. I did not want to miss a workout and was extremely motivated. HOWEVER, all this does not come without a price! You need to be aware of the following 3 side effects.
First, this product substantially increases your chances of tendon injury and muscle pulls, strains, tears, etc. It’s easy to dismiss this and say it won’t happen to you (as I did). But let me explain why it happens. You will likely lift much more weight when taking NO Explode(sometimes without proper form because you are so jacked up mentally). Also, your muscles retain more water from the creatine. This combination increases your susceptibility to these injuries. It happened to me last month - I pulled my hamstring during a flag football game (even though I had sufficiently stretched out). In addition, after experiencing elbow pain for a few months, I went to the doctor and was told I have a chronic partial tear of my right bicep (aka tendinosis). Not the end of the world for me, but both injuries require lots of rehab.
The second side effect is the effect on your johnson. After taking NO Explode for a few months, I definitely noticed my johnson was not “performing” as well as usual. Not sure how or why this happened, but I definitely noticed a slight drop off in my sex drive and my physical “readiness” while on NO Explode (which are otherwise normally at the level of a very healthy young man). Not sure if others have experienced this, but it is something to consider.
The third side effect relates to the effect on your liver. If you take NO Explode, you should not under any circumstances drink alchohol. You put a huge toll on your liver if you do so and you will feel it the next day - I have made this mistake on several occasions and it has not been a pretty sight.
All in all, I would warn people to exercise extreme caution and discipline when using this product. It DOES get you results, but not without costs. Also, it is mentally addictive because it gets you results - SO BE CAREFUL - if you do take NO Explode, I would suggest not taking it for more than 2 months at a time. Hope this helps you.
I started using No-Explode a month ago. I’m 37, 6′3″ 230 and worked out 4 days weekly sluggishly prior to starting regime. I added about 10 pounds of muscle with a greatly intensified workout while on No-Explode. I take it about 30 minutes prior to the gym, by the time I get there I’m ready to jack the weights. I recommend people only take one scoop. Two scoops will through me into an anxiety attack hours after I’m done at the gym. Excellent Product!
Hey have anyone had it that you get a burning sensation in your face about 20minutes after takking no-xplode?

No-Xplode is an awesome pre workout supplement. You should cycle it, I only take it for 2 weeks at a time and take 2 weeks off, that was its stays as effective is it was the first time you take it.
Superpump250 is also another good pre workout supp

No-Xplode awesome! It does exactly what is says it’s going to…more focus during your workout, better pumps. I workout early in the morning and this stuff really gets me going! My gains have almost doubled in 6 weeks since I started it. I have been taking it for 6 weeks straight and the effects are still the same, I haven’t “got used to it” like some others have judging by the comments here
Has anyone use this product and stop using it, lets say for a year and notice any reduction in muscle size?
well so far been using this for a week now feel good drink alot of water also if experience headache drink more water it will help
I have been taking N.O. for about a week now and have seen the same burst of energy and increased performance as everyone has. My question is has anyone noticed that it made their sweat smell pretty bad? I’ve never smelled bad when I worked out and I have always sweat alot, but before taking N.O. (with Cell Mass and Syntha-6) I have not smelled like this before.
Chris I get that burning sensation when I take xplode or cellmass. Today it was so bad, my whole face turned red and my back and arms broke out in little red dots. Ive been cycling this stuff now for almost a year. I think its time for me to lay off of for a long time.
I had the same result’s KC had. My strength went through the roof and because of this I suffered tendon and cartiledge problem’s. I also noticed that my sex drive was off and I would get half a erection. The last one and the one that caused me to stop taking it was liver issues. I have high cholesterol and get checked every 3 or 4 month’s, while using the stuff it caused my lipid level’s to go through the roof. The doctor told me it was either from drinking heavily ( I drink occasionally ) or using steroid’s, I explained to him what I was using and he advised me to stop for a while and then check my level’s. We found that 2 week’s after I stopped my lipid level’s went back to normal. I don’t know what it has that causes this, I loved the result’s and like I said my strength increase was insane, but it came with a price
After reading a bunch of these reviews and also having personal experience from taking NO Xplode for over a year now… I think the best piece of advice about this product is that N.O. Xplode effects different people in different ways..
Like i said, i have been using N.O. Xplode for over a year now and yes….N.O. Xplode definitely provides you with that pre-workout “boost” and it surely carries you through your workout feeling very focused and energetic…
Buying this product from GNC, they recommended me cycle off of it after using the product for 12 weeks. (3 months) Does anybody know the correct cycling information? Like, when can you get back on after you cycle off? Also, is there any long-term damage you are doing to your body while taking this product cycle after cycle????
But, speaking for myself, here are some of the negative side affects I have experienced from it.
- The tub says the product will ware off anywhere from 1- 5 hours after consumption. It took over 9 hours to completely ware off with the use of 3 scoops. Which, PREVENTED ME FROM REST AT NIGHT. I would end up falling asleep at like 4 or 5 in the morning after taking the product at 5 in the evening. Which was very irritating.
-After about 3 months of use, i began to get nausiating headaches while working out. Could this be cause i took it for too long?
- I wouldnt say this supplement is addictive, but after cycling off and than trying to go up to the gym and lift without it, it is almost impossible and it only leaves you one option. That is to cycle back on the Xplode… Which, can be looked at as good, or bad…
i have been using N.O. for a few months now and i found that i had the same problem as a few oth the other people i am really having a problem gettin my friend up and when i do get stiff it takes for ever for things to happen my friend has had the same sort of problems
NO-explode for me is great, I haven’t experienced any problems so far and the biggest advantage I have found is to my stamina, where I usually work out for an hour at a time and feel like I have really done something I can now do 2 hours and still feel like I want more, BUT… I got caught out when I was pressing 100Kg and feeling great suddenly my strength went from way high to way low and I had 100Kg sitting on my chest, a lesson I will never forget. I also agree 100% with the other guys that your sex drive gets really messed up, your wee man wants to but its like he really can’t be bothered!
All in all NO-explode is good but like everything in life to get something good you tend to have to put up with the bad!

I have mixed feelings about the stuff. The first thing that should be noted is that the “proprietary creatine” that BSN claims…doesn’t appear to exist! In fact, there is a class-action lawsuit against the company. A quick Google search will pull it up, along with many credible references and articles. They even claimed to have filed for a patent, even though no such patent record could be found.
I took this stuff for several months while training in Iraq and I definitely felt that it gave me increased energy, focus and pumps during my workouts. However, I can’t dismiss the possibility that this was either a placebo effect because I believed it was working, or simply a result of the high caffeine levels in the product. After a couple of months of using it for every workout, I definitely felt “lagging” in the gym when I stopped using it. Again, this could be the placebo effect or the lack of caffeine. The worst side effect I found was that I had a lot of trouble going to sleep after taking it before evening workouts, and consequently I’d feel lousy for my workout the next day and rely even more on the No-Xplod. I usually have trouble sleeping if I take caffeine in any form after noon, so that’s easily-explained.
I believe I’ve achieved similar results–at much lower cost!–by mixing my own supplements out of the primary ingredients: caffeine, arginine, and creatine.
No-Xplode for me has been a great pre-workout supplement. I have been using it for about 4-6 months now with now off periods. I have found that taking 2 scoops with about 5-7 ounces of water in a shaker cup does the trick for me. I work out 5 days a week and I use it every day that I go work out and so far with the 2 scoops my tolerance hasn’t been messed up. Always gets me ready to work out. I have also starting taking Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey protein Pre and Post work out, awesome product too. My recovery times have become a lot shorter. I usually give my body 2 day rest (Saturday and Sunday).
I have had headaches before but on the label it states to consume 120oz of water with the product per day. So I started drinking more water especially whenever I work out and I have had no headaches. So far I have not had any side effects. I can say that once I get home after the gym….my sex drive jumps but then again I try to stay away from having a lot of sex since I am getting more serious about my work out ethics. So far I have not noticed any issues with my liver, consuming all that water makes me use the bathroom more so it flushes my system out.
Bottom line….great energy, definitely would recommend it to any body that wants to have more energy in the gym and get better pumps.
I also recommend starting off with small amount because if you take too much you will only feel sick.
My next stack will be NO Xplode, 100% Whey Protein and 100% Casein Protein. Whey protein pre and post workout and then Casein protein later on the day since it digests slower, making you feel fuller throughout the day (at least that is what the research showed).
Great supplement overall! I’m 19 @ 180lbs, bench 300, deadlift 365 etc. I could really notice the difference in my workouts even in the first few days. I’ve been researching whether it’s bad for your heart and liver and other organs and I see that as long as you use it properly it should be OK. I don’t take more than a scoop and a half and it gets me pumped everytime. I really try to be careful with supplements. I suggest if you’re stacking on a few supplements to avoid everything else that might be bad for your body, like alcohol, or especially any kind of drugs, because it additionally puts pressure on the heart/liver/kidneys. I’ve never had any vomitting or diarrhea from it.
The only bad thing I noticed which I’m kind of worried about is that I get small anxiety attacks. For example when I sit in class sometimes my heart beat would go up and I just get a little nervous and breathe heavier. Nothing big though. However I don’t get these effcets on off days. I suggest not taking it for more than 2 months. You guys that are on your 5th tub and so on should chill a little.
And AJ- sex does NOT effect your performance in the gym. There are tons of studies on it.
I’m 13 Years Old And I Just Want To Get A Nice Shape For My Body Since I Come Back From School Feeling Exhausted Do You Think That Would Help Remove My Laziness And Get Me Active For My Daily Working Out?
I have been taking no explode for a few weeks now in between my cycles and i love the difference than from just taking creatine in between cycles. I have read people saying they have bad effects after taking for a while.. include your diet and other supplements you are taking.. don’t drink enough water taking anything could have a bad side effect especially when you are not cycling it.. no matter what you take you must cycle it….science people thats all i need to say….take care of your body and eat right and your body will take care of you…

I used no-xplode for about 6 months by itself with awesome results, but got even better results stacking it with CellMass! Definitely recommend it. Another good pre/post stack is SuperPump 250 and SizeOn from Gaspari Nutrition
I’m just starting to take it, my husband is training to fight in the ring and he told me to take it as well before i work out to help me burn cals and get LEAN faster, but what im hearing its more to bulk you up??? Im a girl and i don’t want to be bulked up lol
will it do that to me??
To the lady who is worried about bulking up on No explode rest assured it will not do that as its main job is simply to make you train harder and burn more calories .Women have lower tetosterone levels in comparison to men which makes it impossible to build the same amount of Muscle as men unless ofcourse they take tetosterone boosters like most female body builders which changes everything.I have have personally used the product and i was astonished by the results i went from 20percent body fat to 12 percent body fat in 4 weeks and got a gud six pack to go with.I guess with every supplement it depends on the person taking it ,i guess i was one of lucky ones.If you want to give it a go i suggest you follow the instructions on the label and drink lots of water before ,after and during trainning.One more thing take it on an empty stomach or else you will pay the toilet regular visits.
I started taking NO explode about 10 weeks ago. I loved it. However, about a month ago, I started to get very sick. The doctor thinks it is the NO. I have had big problems with my liver and am very jaundice. I would like to know if anyone else has had these problems?
Individuals who are having health problems with it may not be intaking enough water… water has a huge thing to do with it
To ryan: i totally respect guys wanting to work out as early as possible but dont take advanced suppliments at 13 man, all guys are still developing at that age, use protein, but not creatine, not yet man, just wait a little longer it will be worth it. if you must, seriously make sure your drinkin @ least 100oz water daily.
I really really enjoy the NO xplode, but it sucks that without it the power effects go away FAST.
As long as your on it, man you cant go wrong; i use only one scoop (i refuse to use more, dont want to overdo it) and its a rush! I just started may 4th, and im already more muscular, stronger, and cant wait to get to the gym tonight.

No explode is good.. but like alot of other NO supplements.. It seems you sex drive is gone within the first 3 weeks…. I finally gave up on taking it.. It was either that or switch teams … LOL

Don’t take that stuff because you r 13 years old and that is 5 years away for the required age to take that stuff, just get Muscle Tech Hardcore, that right there is better for your age and if u want energy than just get a 5 hour energy shot
I think NO explode its garbage compare to No shotgun by Vpx and Superpum 250 by Gaspari. I guess its ok if you never tried something else. But its like comparing a ferrari to a ford mustang!!!
I have been taking NO Xplode for a few months now and I want to say that I am very happy with its effects at the gym. I take 2 scoops about 15 minutes prior to my workouts with 5 grams of BCAA powder. My pumps are intense and are very easy to achieve. Since I train in the evening, I do have trouble sleeping at night. I recommend training earlier in the day with this product. I remember getting headaches right after taking NO. My remedy was to drink more water and I was fine.
used no-xplode once and loved the reults not the taste. with this stuff i go longer and harder. i do martial arts on weekends for about 3 hours with mayber two 5 min breaks, once i started using this my ednurance sky rocketed and i wasnt pooping out after 30 min….don’t take with a weight loss pill though and make sure you read the label i think the guy at the GNC said it has caffeine and it would be bad to stack with weight loss pills that have caffeine. did on accident and was wired the whole day which scared me cuz i have asthma and a history of high-blood pressure on my mom’s side.
the taste was god-awful (fruit-punch) but i felt alive after drinking it (due to the horrible taste?!) dont take it on non-workkout days cuz its a waste and the stuff aint cheap. stacked with volumaize and my workouts became legendary (in my book at least) i saw my max across the board rise and after my workouts i wanted more…but when you’re in school and taking care of your sister you just hafta dream abou the next workout…
No Xplode is great stuff i had good results with increased strenght and endurance. Never take this product on your days off the gym just a waste. Only thing i did not like is that when i would finish my workouts i was not as hungry as when i was off this product. Other than that great pumps. I did find MYO SHOCK was a better product although after muscle techs hydroxy cut was pulled off shelves myo shock product was a bit scary
